Sambal College of Education was established in 2007 under the management of the registered society Sambal Shikshan Sansthan, with the visionary initiative of Late Shri Pratram Arya, former Principal, School Education, Government of Rajasthan whose dedication to quality education continues to inspire the institution. Founded with the objective of fulfilling the educational needs of society, the college is committed to shaping and preparing young minds to confidently face the challenges of an evolving world.

Code of Conduct for Governing Body and Teaching Staff
- Every teacher shall perform his/her duties diligently, proficiently, and with a commitment to academic excellence as envisioned by the institution.
- Teachers are encouraged to continuously update their professional knowledge, teaching methodologies, and innovative skills to enhance effective learning outcomes.
- Punctuality, discipline, and regular attendance are essential. Teachers must report to duty on time and shall not remain absent without prior authorisation from the competent authority.
- Teachers shall maintain dignity, integrity, and professionalism in their interactions with superiors, colleagues, students, and stakeholders of the institution.
- Respect for the individuality, uniqueness, and specific needs of students must be upheld, promoting their intellectual, emotional, and holistic development in a fair and inclusive environment.
- Teachers shall treat all students equitably without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, caste, colour, creed, or social background.
- Professional conduct must remain free from personal bias, conflict of interest, or actions that may negatively impact students, institutional harmony or the dignity of the teaching profession.
- Teachers shall avoid any behaviour, public or private, that may bring disrepute to the profession or institution and shall uphold moral and ethical standards at all times.
- Open conflicts, inappropriate conduct, or actions disrupting the academic environment must be strictly avoided. Teachers shall not provoke or encourage students or staff in activities that interfere with the smooth functioning of the college.
- Teachers shall maintain accurate, updated, and confidential academic records and respect the privacy of student information except where disclosure is required by law.
- The use of institutional resources, authority, or professional privileges for personal benefit is strictly prohibited. Teachers shall not collect money from students unless officially authorised by the college administration.
- No teacher shall undertake assignments from external agencies, participate in political activities or associate with organisations contrary to the ethics of the teaching profession without prior approval of the college management.
- Teachers are expected to maintain proper attire, refrain from using mobile phones during classes, and avoid any conduct that promotes undue familiarity with students or adversely influences their moral development.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, eating during teaching sessions, or engagement in any indecent or immoral practices within the institution is strictly prohibited.
- Teachers are encouraged to actively participate in community service and contribute positively towards institution-building and social development.
Code of Conduct for Support Staff
- Staff members shall demonstrate loyalty to the institution by being punctual, reliable, and sincere in the discharge of their duties.
- Honesty, integrity, self-discipline, and respectful behaviour towards students, faculty members, colleagues, and the general public shall be maintained at all times.
- Support staff shall treat students with care, compassion, and sensitivity while maintaining confidentiality regarding institutional matters. Unauthorised sharing of information related to the college is strictly prohibited.
- Staff members must remain present on duty and shall not remain absent without prior approval from the concerned authority.
- Employees are expected to maintain a disciplined, drug-free and ethical lifestyle and refrain from any conduct that may harm the image or reputation of the institution.
- Uniforms prescribed by the administration must be worn wherever applicable.
- Any reasonable concern regarding the safety or well-being of a student must be reported immediately to the Principal or competent authority.
- Non-teaching staff working in laboratories, libraries, and administrative units shall maintain proper records, stock registers and institutional documentation efficiently.
Code of Conduct for Students
- Students must maintain discipline, dignity, and respectful behaviour within and outside the campus.
- Wearing the prescribed college uniform and carrying the College ID card is mandatory.
- Students shall treat faculty, staff, peers, and visitors with courtesy and respect.
- Respect for diversity, irrespective of gender, religion, caste, disability, or background, must be maintained.
- 80% attendance in classes, practicals and internships is compulsory.
- Students must attend classes regularly and participate actively in academic activities.
- Timely completion of assignments, lesson plans, projects, practical work and internships is mandatory.
- Students must attend teaching practice, school internships, and practical classes with sincerity and discipline.
- Mobile phones must remain switched off during classes and academic sessions.
- Students should regularly connect with mentors and faculty for academic guidance and counselling.
- Participation in seminars, workshops, debates, conferences, and student development programmes is encouraged.
- Students shall use college facilities, books, laboratories, and equipment responsibly.
- Damage to college property, computer systems, or institutional resources is strictly prohibited.
- Cleanliness must be maintained in classrooms and across the campus.
- Students should conserve resources and contribute to a clean and green campus.
- Smoking, alcohol, drugs, gambling, weapons, firecrackers, and other prohibited substances are strictly banned.
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited.
- Sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation, or misconduct of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Unauthorised visitors are not allowed inside the campus.
- Entry into staff rooms or restricted areas without permission is prohibited.
- Vehicles must be parked only in designated parking areas.
- Students shall not engage with media representatives without prior permission from authorities.
- Any behaviour that disrupts academic activities or harms the reputation of the institution is prohibited.
- Students must follow all rules and regulations prescribed by the college authorities.
Violation of the Code of Conduct may invite disciplinary action by the college administration.
