Admission Procedure

Admission to Sambal College of Education is based on eligibility norms prescribed by the university and regulatory authorities.

Eligibility & Admission Process

  • Students who have successfully completed Senior Secondary (12th Class) are eligible for admission to the Four-Year Integrated BA-B.Ed. Programme.
  • Candidates who have completed their Undergraduate Degree (UG) are eligible for the Two-Year B.Ed. Programme.
  • Admission to B.Ed. courses is conducted through the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota as per government guidelines.
  • Final admission is granted based on merit, counselling process and seat availability.
  • Students must complete all required formalities including document verification and fee submission within the stipulated time.

The institution follows a transparent and merit-based admission process in accordance with the norms of the affiliating university and state government.


General Guidelines

  • A minimum of 80% attendance in aggregate is compulsory as per university norms. Regular attendance is highly encouraged for academic success.
  • Students are expected to strictly follow college rules and maintain discipline to uphold the academic reputation of the institution.

Examination System

  • The college conducts periodic internal assessments, pre-university examinations, and continuous test series throughout the academic session.
  • These assessments help evaluate student progress and improve performance in university examinations.

Do's and Don'ts

  • Always carry your College Identity Card on campus.
  • Do not enter staff rooms; meet faculty in designated areas only.
  • Read notice boards regularly for updates and instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and use dustbins properly.
  • Avoid loud talking in corridors during class hours.
  • Mobile phones are not allowed during classroom teaching.
  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and punishable.
